Review: Lots of business going down in
this one, folks! We learn (some) of what happened to Major Forsberg,
about the mask of Genghis Khan and see Jade turn over a new leaf
concerning Spawn.
The episode mainly focuses around a few key elements: getting Forsberg
out of jail, Terry trying to kill Wynn, and Jade and Spawn kissing (Kids
in the audience: Ewww! Wait! Why are there kids in the audience? Get
out of here!).
Forsbergs breakout was a great scene to watch. Combined with Terrys
rescue from the same building, Spawn was able to save the lives of many
that night, while taking God knows how many bullets in the chest. Jade
aided Spawn once she saw that he wasnt like the other Hellspawn she had
hunted and killed. The animation in these scenes was also brilliant and
Spawns mid-transformation into Terry (sparking Wandas Terry, he
looked like you! could it be that this creature is the father of the
child Wanda is carrying?) and the bright green necroplasmit was really
just a fun scene to watch.
Despite a lot happening in this episode, I dont have a whole lot to
talk about. Most of what took place happened in Wynns prison /
restaurant building place, though the ending was certainly important. We
see Jade and Spawn share a tender moment in a Church, where Spawn rests
after being shot. It sets up the next episode, where we know something
big is going to happen.
